To Our Stakeholders:
Covalent Materials was launched in 2006 following a decision by Toshiba Ceramics to transform its business. After executing the largest management buyout in domestic history for a manufacturer, we became newly capitalized and established a management organization that is able to respond to market environments and competitive conditions with flexibility and autonomy. As such, we provide leading-edge parts and materials to support the world's growth industries, including the semiconductor industry.
Using our wealth of resources, Covalent Materials creates new values by combining raw materials, such as ceramics, with expert technology. We aim to grow with all our stakeholders -- our customers, business partners, employees, and the local communities in which we have a presence. Our name, Covalent, represents the meaning of these concepts of bonding and unity.
Our goal is to achieve true independence and growth, and we will move forward by implementing constructive management policies.
