SIC Investment is established for the purpose of the tender offer of Toshiba Ceramics' shares.

The tender offer is completed and Toshiba Ceramics becomes a subsidiary of SIC Investment.
2007 After the exchange of shares, SIC changes its name to Covalent Materials.
Toshiba Ceramics merges with Covalent Materials, and the new Company is inaugurated as Covalent Materials Corporation.
2012 Covalent Silicon is sold to Sino-American Silicon Products.
